Android Auto strives to be a satisfying driving companion. Therefore, their updates focus on better integrating safety and entertainment into the system. The Do Not Disturb functionality has been improved, and the Dark mode on car UI is now independent from the phone. Bugs has been fixed as usual. Other improvements have also been made to ensure that the app work well.

Android Auto is more of an alternate way to control an Android phone so that it's easy to use while you're driving. The display is designed to be easy to read at a glance, and voice controls are integrated via Google Assistant. Android Auto can function as a standalone app and can also be operated along with other ones, which means that you can use other apps along with it. 1. -  Not all apps are available on Android Auto. If Android Auto’s best feature is its ability to use your favorite apps hands-free while driving, you should check that the apps you use are compatible. 

2. -  All voice recognition technology is a work in progress. Sometimes sending text messages with voice recognition can be frustrating, as you may have to correct errors several times before hitting send. 

3. -  Android Auto can make multi-tasking while driving safer, but not perfectly safe. When traffic and road conditions make driving a more demanding task, you shouldn’t use your phone at all – not even through voice commands.
